Born in 1997, Zero Gravity is a 15.3 hand full son of NERO out of Auxana. With a STER rating, Z is a registered FOA Silver Premium Stallion. "Z" is the only purebred son of Nero available in California. Nero is now 20 years old, and so far, there are only 3 purebred sons in existence (he likes to throw fillies)- Z was his first. A proven producer of long legged offspring (many of them unusually highly colored) Z's sons and daughters are excelling in the performance arena. The "Nero influence" is clear in his get. Z is known for allowing color to come through and he has some of the flashiest, prettiest Friesian Sport Horse offspring in the country! (Genetic color buffs theorize that the secret to his color production may be in his little white star that he hides under his huge forelock). Zero Gravity is currently in dressage training. He has excellent gaits with a lovely, floating trot and a lofty, uphill canter. Check back here for his show scores - they will be posted as they are earned. So far, at his first schooling show ever, he took home 3 blue ribbons from the 3 classes he participated in. He also won the overall high point award of the show with a 73.33%, and it was 100 degrees outside that day.
Physically, Z, is a beautiful Friesian with the tiniest ears and lovely head and the lengdary long Friesian mane, tail, forelock and feathers - and he has a wonderful temperament. I often arrive at his stall to find people and their children cuddling him. They ask many questions and are inevitably shocked to find that this gentle beauty is a stallion. Be warned though: he is also a real rascal. He's taken the liberty of teaching himself little tricks like opening doors, undoing his braids, and removing his bridle whenever he thinks you're not looking...
